feedstock uses for animal waste products.
Bossman is immediate past president American Feed
Industry Association (AFIA), the world’s largest organization devoted
exclusively to serving the interests of companies involved in the livestock feed
and feed ingredient industry. He was President/CEO from 1992 – 2004.

association’s effort to develop the new Safe Feed/Safe Food guidelines for the
feed and ingredient industries.
He is Executive Vice President of the International
Feed Industry Federation (IFIF). From 1999 - 2004, he has served as Chairman of IFIF’s Committee to the Codex Alimentarius,
which developed the international code for animal feeding. Codex Alimentarius is the
official third-party dispute arbiter of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Bossman was organizer of the American Feed Industry
Insurance Company (AFIIC), an Iowa-based casualty insurance firm, providing
liability insurance to the feed and ingredient businesses. He was President for 15 years and
currently serves on the Board of Directors.
